And our newest cut pile carpet....
Part of our new Eco Collection which combines beauty with the highest standards of environmental and social responsibility increasingly demanded by consumers, and using completely natural materials. Eco Velvet is made at ITC Natural Luxury Flooring's factory at Panipat, India. Called the City of Weavers, the town is India's historic centre for the production of fine, hand-loomed carpets and rugs.
Eco Velvet comes in six contemporary muted colours, is soft, smooth and durable and perfect for a stylish look in either a domestic or commercial setting.
Eco Velvet carpet is made by skilled craftspeople, many of whom come from families which have been hand-looming carpets and rugs for generations. The factory has excellent standards of welfare and working conditions, and no child labour is employed.
The looms at the Panipat factory are operated solely by hand, and the carpets are made using only 100% superior quality, undyed wool, cotton, jute and a natural latex backing. They are moth-proof, but without the range of additional chemical additives used in so many contemporary floor coverings.
With the exception of Kensington and Chablis, our cut pile carpet range can also be produced as area rugs, to provide your home with colour and contrast. All our cut pile carpets are rigorously tested by the British Carpet Technical Centre to ensure that elegance and style are complemented by durability and safety.
